Description:
Place two rows of three handbrakes per row face up in a crate. The rows face in opposite directions with the gear ends of the 6 handbrakes facing inward. Two handbrakes are placed vertically on their sides, facing inward, at opposite sides of the crate with their gear ends facing one another. Four handbrakes are then placed in the center of the crate, face down with their gear ends toward one another. The middle layer consists of 6 handbrakes which are placed face down with their gear ends toward the center of the crate for a total of 20. Chains must be taut and secured to the lever of each handbrake by either looping the trailing link over it or by attaching with a twist tie. Fasteners must be placed in a bag and be attached to each handbrake. If a lid is used, it is secured to the package with two .5″ non-metallic bands.
