Description:
Pedestal style side frames shall be unitized in bundles of two units. The two side frames should be matched as to classification and each piece should be within one button of the other. The side frames are to be placed in alternating directions (one up and one down) and banded with three 1.25″ non-metallic bands. Two bands are to be placed through the side frame windows. The third is used to band the top of one side frame to the bottom of the second in the center of the units. Other sizes are 1B and 1C.
