Packaging Standards

Truck mounted brake systems are packaged in returnable racks as follows: Place first two systems into the rack right side up and place a 1.25″ non-metallic band around both beams and the rack. Place the second two systems in the rack upside down. They are secured with a 1.25″ non-metallic band wrapped around all four beams and the rack. Place the last two beams in the rack right side up. Use two 1.25″ non-metallic bands to secure the ends of the bundle. Band the first side loosely, and the other side tightly. Blocks of wood (2″ x 6″ x 14″), are to be placed on end between the first and second and the second and third systems for stability. Place accessories in a medium burlap bag and attach securely to each system.
